Zombies! seeks to invite readers to explore humanity, humor and horror through the element of zombies. These walking undead have a use beyond filling the night (and day) with bone-chilling groans and chasing humans about. They can be entertaining! So long as they’re kept at a distance, which is why reading about them is perfectly safe.
For writers, submissions are open year-round. In addition, Zombies! will host an annual writing contest and an annual cover art contest. Information about all of these can be found on this site as it becomes available and applicable.
Subscribing to Zombies! is inexpensive, and several subscription plans are available. Because Zombies! is an ezine, the subscription price will remain minimal. (However, for an additional price, you can receive Zombies! via USPS.) Basically, it’s used for paying writers for their work. As I myself am a writer, I understand all too well the satisfaction in receiving at least a little monetary compensation.
